This sculpting and lifting massage uses advanced massage techniques to increase blood and lymph circulation, reduce wrinkles and fine lines and gives a natural lifting effect. We are working not only on the skin but on the muscles and ligaments that are holding the muscles in position. No area of the face is left untouched whilst we work on releasing fascia.

What is fascia? Fascia is a web of tissue composed of elastin and collagen, superficial fascia is a layer of connective tissue under your facial skin, where it's responsible for giving it lift and tone. However, it can also carry tension and muscle adhesions that limit blood flow.

As we explore the face, tight muscles, adhesions, wrinkles, etc. will be areas of focus. Releasing adhesions in the connective tissue allows muscles to move more freely, reducing the common concerns like headaches, pain and wrinkles. It also allows free flow of lymph, increasing hydration and reducing inflammation and congestion. And, last but not least, it relieves the downward pull the face and redistributes fat pads resulting in a sculpted, lifted effect. Looking to ditch botox? I highly recommend you experience the natural methods of lifting and anti-ageing the skin through facial massage.

- Improves wound-healing responses and ensures healthy skin + connective tissues (like collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and fascia)

- Provides a natural lifted and sculpted effect to the skins appearence.

- Smoothes fascia and removes adhesions, which cut off circulation, lymph flow and nerve supply

- Smoothes lines and creases created by adhesions

- Loosens and lengthens tight muscles, which often pull on other muscles and create deep lines (like the ones around the     mouth) or the appearance of sagging (such as on the neck)

- Reactivates tired, weakened or atrophied muscles

- Redistributes fat pads that migrate due to the aging process

- Improves hydration, cell differentiation and overall texture

– sever skin conditions (acne,rosacea)

Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage therapy where lymphatic fluid is drained through lymph nodes. The lymphatic system plays a key role in our immune system. It helps the body to get rid of excess fluid in tissues, and transports water, proteins, fats and toxins to the lymph nodes. Once this "waste" has been processed and cleaned, the lymphatic fluid goes back into the venous system. Lymphatic drainage improves the circulation of lymph in the subcutaneous tissue. When waste and toxins beneath the skin are drained regularly, it's easier for the body to eliminate them. This explains why lymphatic drainage massage can help to reduce acne breakouts and promote a more radiant complexion.

LED light therapy works at a cellular level (especially great to fight active acne and rosacea). The soothing, deep penetrating LED lights target deep into cells heightening their internal functions, photo-stimulating dermal blood flow and create faster healing so your skin always looks rejuvenated. NASA originally began experimenting with LED light therapy on plant growth in space and then to help heal wounds in astronauts. Like many developments, other potential uses began to be investigated.

Blue LED Light Therapy specifically targets acne bacteria that cause acne lesions. By removing the bacteria, this treatment reduces active acne. The natural healing process is enhanced and the appearance of the skin is improved.

Red light therapy is thought to work by acting on the “power plant” in your body’s cells called mitochondria. With more energy, other cells can do their work more efficiently, such as repairing skin, boosting new cell growth and enhancing skin rejuvenation. More specifically, certain cells absorb light wavelengths and are stimulated to work.

This technique comes from the Chinese medicine and it means “scraping”,with this technique we can work on the lymph or on sculpting using a specific crystal that will provide energy to the person. During the massage we will work on the reflexology of the face (every point of the face its connected to a part of the body) releasing tension and detoxifying not only the face but the body to. It is normal to experience redness at the end of any facial massage treatment due to increased blood circulation.

- Promoted blood circulation

- Improve fine lines and wrinkles

- Promotes lymphatic drainage

- Relieves tension from muscles

- Works on facial reflexology points

High Frequency is used to treat and prevent stubborn acne, shrink enlarged pores, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, decongest puffy eyes and fade dark eye circles. High frequency increases oxygen to the skin, improving the overall texture, tone, and glow and kills acne bacteria which helps to treat acne problems. All of this promotes collagen stimulation and elastin production, providing a firmer and more youthful appearance. The oscillation produced by high frequency also aids in lymphatic drainage and helps to evenly disperse excess fluid.

- Reduce and calm acne breakouts
- Shrink enlarged pores
- Reduce sebum production
- Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Promote lymphatic drainage
- Increase product penetration
- Diminish the appearance of puffy eyes and dark circles

Chemical peels are an effective way of deeply, chemically exfoliating the skin. Chemical peels contain acids of varying strength which remove the dead, dull, outer layers of skin. The depth of the peel depends on the strength and type of acid used.

At Elira Skin, superficial chemical peels are used. A superficial chemical peel is the mildest of the peels, they remove the outermost layer of the epidermis. Superficial peels have less downtime with zero to minimal skin peeling. Superficial pees have the shortest recovery time.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure using thin needles. The procedure can help reduce the appearance of skin concerns such as acne scars, stretch marks or wrinkles.  The damage helps stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin. These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.

After microneedling redness will be present on the skin and can last 24-48 hours.
