Amber's skin philosophy & the Elira Skin journey

How it started

My signature approach to treating the skin began when I had the realisation that your skin mirrors not only your phsyical health but also the work going on from within.

I suffered with inflamed acne on and off through my teenage years and into my early adulthood, it really effected my day to day life and it was only when I took a 'less is more' approach focusing on quality vs quantity with my skin care products and started working from within and discovering the root cause that my skin vastly improved. Focusing on my own skin barrier health, gut health, stress levels, hormones, nervous system state and lymphatic system created the most effective and long lasting change to my skin and I use this 360 approach with my clients too.

Vision

This understanding and embarking on my own skin journey is what inspired the creation of Elira Skin and my 'inside out' philosophy.

'Elira' means 'to be free'.

My vision has always been to allow you to feel freedom in your skin and feel your most confident. I care deeply about my client's well being and the freedom you feel when you are truly comfortable in your skin, both physically and emotionally, is at the core of my work.

Mission

My signature 360 approach involves my bespoke treatments alongside the right home care routine and lifestyle changes. This is what creates the most effective results within my clients skin.

Combining the power of touch with the power of science, my bespoke. treatments embody an immersive hands on approach focusing on your fascia, nerve endings, muscles, ligaments, lymphatic system and prioritising the skin barrier.

I have created my own signature advanced facial massage flow that incorporates different facial massage techniques from around the world and I love to show clients the results they can achieve through sculptural facial massage and lymphatic drainage.

Both advanced holistic and modern skin modalities are combined within my treatments enabling me to combine a hands on approach with advanced technology. A unique fusion of nervous system regulation techniques and energetic healing such as somatic face massage, facial reflexology and sound baths also create my signature whole rounded approach to optimum results. .
